Stand-ups:
In my opinion you should always have a gig booked at the Kings Head. It's one of the places you can get a good sized audience even when you are starting out. It very popular and takes about 2 months to get on, but it well worth it. At a lot of open spots the comediens tend to out number the audience, but not here. They have a good range of comediens from first times to old hands trying out material. It friendly and a damm good place to Gauge material.
If you are looking to get a spot the ring (01920) 823 265 between the hours of 9am to 11am. You'll need to turn up about 7:30 to sign in.
