Booking downstair at the kings head

Thursday, October 19th, 2006

Well I took a great step today and book my first open mic session for a long time. I decided to book at 'Downstairs at the kingshead'. Since the place has always been good to me.
I ws kind of shocked (again) by the amount fo time you need to wait to get a gig. Mine is on Febuary the 8th that is 3 months away, three months!!
I knew it takes long and what with the big old christmas thing coming along, but three month was a shock.

Anyway if you fancy mgiving it a go yourself then this is how to book: Ring (01920) 823 265 between the hours of 9am to 11am on Thursday. Then just wait three month. Plus don't be fussy, the general point with any situation where you have to wait three months is there are ten other peopel who will gladly jump in your space.

At last progress on the site.

National stop watching Jimmy Carr Day

Tuesday, September 5th, 2006

This made me laught I read it in a old copy of Viz and I wanted to share it with everyone:

Time to Kick the habit

A shocking TV and cinema ad is to be launched in the late spring depicting the effect that watching Jimmy Caqrr will have on the well-being of a typical channel 4 viewer.
In the hard hitting ad, the BMA's Surgeon General explains that watching just 20 Jimmy Carr links a day can lead to a whole host of illnesses, including depression, listlessness, nausea, alopaecia, loss of libido and erectile disfunction.
Survey after survay has shown that the vast majority of Channel 4 viwers are desperate to stop watching Jimmy Carr, but they simply don't know how.
This ad will be backed up by a multi-million pound campaign that will see leftlets deleieved to every home in the country, setting out how bad for you watching Jimmy Carr is, and what to do if you want to stop.

Well it's about time to, if you ask me. I am still keen to see this legistation instated.

Things seem good on the work front.
