A couple of notes

December 26th, 2007

Okay I came up with a couple more notes on comedy ideas.

Tomorrows world
Tomorrows world was always based on the point that the future would be a etopia with techonology freeing us from day to day work loads so we could live a life of luxury. However wouldn't it be cool if the future of a post apocolitic distopia, where every one had to run around just trying to meek out a existance in a world that has fallen apart. "well hello everyone, now in the future, I would probable be using some thing like this a sharp stick, to kill my own mother and eat here guts."

Dreams
Dreams are like god joke on us. You get up in the morning after spending 6 hours in a crazy fantasy world and are expected to carry on with work. "I've just spent 6 hour flating a giant wasp and now you want me to do paper work!!"

Finally we seem to be progressing with the site.
Well I have totally finished the lines and wrinkles page

London Improv Jam

December 26th, 2007

A new type of impro show has hit london. The Dance monkey Dance guys have put together a show that is slightly different to all the rest. The london improv Jam, the concept of the show is straight forward. Basically it start with a small introduction to what Improv is, then afterwards anyone who wants to put their name in the hat is welcome up onto the stage to join in. Is quite magic, you have a mix fo people who have improvised and people starting from scratch, the person who name is pulled out is asked if there is anything they would like to do and either they will put together a scene and decide who they want in it or they will say they don't nad the Dance monkey Dance guys will put soemthign together depending on what they think they will enjoy.

The show is definately inspired by keith Johnstones meastro, but it is even less competitve. At the end small rpizes are provided pretty much at radom and a few people are allowed to give small speaches. You can see more details of this show and more London comedy shows on spon shops website. This show is kind of for the impro community, it is fun and the begining is semi-professional it is enteraining but don't be expect to be left out lots of shouting and sopporting is kind of hard to avoid.
