Lat bit of the festival

August 19th, 2005

All good things must come to a end and it is now officially ended and I am miserable. I didn’t do half the stuff stuff I wanted to, plus it is the final 2 days where everybody goes loony and begins sleeping with each other, every one was too preoccupied with the festivities and shows and shit, to notice me. I did feel like an foreigner, I had a good time, but didn’t really care about anything. Merely getting drunk. It was fun and I would do it again but simply if it wasn’t possible to work.

I personally made a couple friends and would quite like to go up for the final few days of the month and try and blag my way into the BBC comedy awards party again. That would, be amusing.

South side C, can be able to give me spare of work. They always loved me, and they employee anyone at all. Some time they ever pull beggars off the road, not ever the adept beggars the ones that are bollock and ne’er get any money, they really are desperate.

BBC New Comedy Awards

June 30th, 2005

This is the message that is being passed around about the BBC New Comedy awards.

Hello, this is just a quick one to say that you can enter or re-enter the BBC New Comedy Awards, as long as you haven’t been gigging for more than 3 years and your material is different from previous time you
entered. It’s a great chance to work with up and coming radio producers at the beeb and all 36 semi-finalists will receive £250, the 1st prize is £2000.

Please go to www.bbc.co.uk/newtalent to download an application form. You’ll need to send them a tape, audio CD etc of your act, it doesn’t have to be from a live gig, all the details are on the website.

The deadline for entries is 8th July

Good Luck
